a change

My husband and I just got back from St. George (air show) and the family that we stayed with had the cutest house ever! She had BRIGHT colors in bathrooms, her kitchen, pretty much every where in the house. It made Chris and I realize that now that we have our new home we need to make it OUR home! I think to many years of renting & moving has made us not make a house a home! We went to Target in St. George and just decided to start with our guest bathroom. The next couple of nights once we got home we finally started hanging pictures in our home & let me tell you, the house doesn't ECHO as much as it used to HA HA

Before #1
Before #2
After #1
After #2
After #3
Slowly but surely we will get the rest of the house done, but let me tell you! I love having Turquoise in that room & it's so bright and cheery & fun! I think our Master Bath will be next! I'm thinking Orange & Browns?!?!?! What do you think??

Easter Project

I have been addicted to pinterest lately and found this fun project to do for Easter decorations! I don't have a lot of decorations and now that we are in a permanent home and I have an attic to store all of my holiday stuff in I can start adding to it. Basically you need foam eggs, sticks, craft glue, sponges, glitter, and hair spray. You poke the stick in the end of one of the eggs, poor the glue on the egg and use the sponge to get into into the grooves of the eggs. Then you poor the glitter on the egg, stick it in another foam box to dry, after 30 minutes take them out side and spray them with the hairspray, after another 30 minutes carefully remove the stick from the bottom of the egg, add more glue and cover the bottom with glitter. Let dry and then spray again with hairspray! SUPER EASY & FUN!!!

Thunder Over Utah

Chris and I and Chris' parents went to St. George this past weekend for an air show. We had a blast! Even though it was windy and a teeny bit cold it was still so much fun! The Blue Angels were there and by the time they were getting ready to perform it started getting really windy and we were worried they weren't going to be able to perform, but luckily they were able to! My husband takes amazing photos with our new Nikon Camera! I'm so proud of him, because if it was me I would have screwed up the whole thing.

Blue Angel going straight up in the air
This is such a cool airplane. It can change from an airplane to a helicopter just by rotating it's propellers. V22 Ossprey
4 of the Blue Angels in formation
They also had a car show going on at the same time - how awesome is this old police car?!? Chris' uncle is with the highway patrol and used to drive one just like this! Crazy we went from this to a Charger!!!
Chris' favorite Airplane - North American P51 Mustang
This is a pretty cool picture, this airplane is a B25 that I am standing in front of. My Grandpa Robins used to fly these (as well as many other airplanes) in WWII. Every time Chris and my grandpa would get together "airplanes" was the main subject they talked about and "guns" was the second! We miss you Grandpa!!!

....kramer....???

Why "Baby Kramer"

Because I already have a "Bean"

And, I already have a "Pee Pod"

I'm also not comfortable calling our baby an "it" or anything like that and I thought I would have names picked out already but I can't settle on ONE perfect name for either a boy/girl. I think it's just going to have to wait until I have that precious "Kramer" in my arms for a little bit! Chris and I are HUGE Seinfeld fans and we love Cosmo Kramer, hence Kramer! :)

Sigh of Relief

In my previous post one of the questions was "Worries..." I informed you that I had the blood work done for any sort of syndrome's the baby could possibly have. My doctor told me that they normally go over the results at the next appointment unless something was seriously wrong and then he would call, but he knows me very well and told me to go ahead and call next week.

Well, today was 1 week from my appointment & blood draw so I called my nurse (who I love to death, she is amazing & I couldn't ask for a better nurse) and asked if she had received the blood results back yet and the verdict was.............

Everything is great!

Our little baby Kramer (I'll do a post later about why we call the baby this) is healthy! Thank you Lord! :-)

15 weeks

I'm not quite sure how much I'm going to be posting about the pregnancy, not that I don't want to, but since I can't make my blog private I really don't want my bizness out there for everybody to see.....

Today I am 15 weeks, it's crazy it feels like it's gone by SO fast! I'm in my second trimester & I'm feeling AMAZING!! I found this cute update thingy about pregnancies on another blog that I'm going to do every once in awhile.

Enjoy!

How Far Along: 15 Weeks

Size of baby: about the size of a naval orange or 4.5 inches, 2 to 3 oz.

Maternity Clothes: I am still blessed that I can fit into my jeans while using a hair tie to do them up! As for shirts, I have bought about 3 or 4 maternity shirts that are SUPER comfortable but for the most part I just wear my own clothes still.

Gender: not sure yet

Name: I don't think we'll know for sure til that baby is in our arms, and even then it might take a day or two. I can't settle on just one yet!

Movement: I can't really tell.....I don't think so but every once in awhile I feel flutters but just convince myself it's something else.

Sleep: UGH! Let's just start out by saying that my hips are KILLING me! My dr says it's something I'm going to deal with my whole pregnancy & possibly afterwards. Since I was little I've been able to pop my tail bone in and out of place (freaky I know) but I was told by a dr when I was younger that when I go to have kids I'm going to pay for being able to do that, BOY was that dr right!!! I have a BOPPY pillow which does help A TON & I just have to take Tylenol to sleep right now, nothing else I can do.

Cravings: I haven't had any cravings recently but at first it was popsicle's, red vines, sweet tarts, gummy bears, you get where this is going LOL

Symptoms: I have only had a few throwing up spells in the first trimester, that's gone away. My nose is still sensitive to smells such as the garage REEKS I don't know of what, it just does. Chris just doesn't understand, just because something stinks to me does not mean it's going to stink to him. My fridge disgusts me, the garbage churns my stomach, and just walking up to my sink sometimes I start to dry heave. It's not every day that these things are going on but at least 2 to 3 times a week. I do ok as long as I have a drink of something other than water for when I start not feeling so well. I change my Scentsy like everyday just to keep smells under wraps! :)

Weird Things: HORMONES! Holyness........my poor husband! That's all I can say! I'll only give one example because I think this example is just great! We went through Wendy's drive through the other day and I asked for a Ceasar Salad with grilled chicken (normally it comes with Spicy Chicken). Well when I received the salad the top of it said Spicy Chicken. I started BAWLING because they screwed up my order!! Chris made me pull back around, he ran it inside, come to find out they cook the chicken separately and just place it on the already made up lettuce that's in the already labeled Spicy Chicken bowl. So I freaked out for nothing basically, but at that moment it seemed like a HUGE DISASTER to me! OH MY! It's going to be a long 6 months to go!! Please pray for my husband! :-)

Worries: I worry EVERY SINGLE DAY! After you experience what I've been through I don't think I'll be ok until I'm holding that baby in my arms! I have an at home doppler so I get to listen to my little bundle of joy anytime I want. My newest worry...I had the blood test done last week for the syndromes test (tells you your odds of your baby having some sort of disease) I'll find out this week how my results are! Please pray as well!

Best Moment of the Week(s): Hitting the 14 milestone last week, being able to be off of Progesterone, hearing the babies heart beat at the dr's, and being in my second trimester!

Appointments This Week: Appointment was last week, another 4 weeks until the next one!

What I’m looking forward to: Finding out the sex of the baby, I have a SUPER CUTE idea to tell the family & cannot wait!!!

Something I've Learned/Realized: I never thought conceiving, carrying, and having a baby would be such a sensitive process. There is A LOT that goes into this process & I've learned that TIMING IS EVERYTHING!!

***Here is my 15 week photo***

Thanks for stopping by!

Tebow

We have a new little member to our family! His name is Tebow! After we moved into our new home, we found that the mice now realized there were new owners with NO CAT! Just 2 mangey looking things that can't chase us (our dogs). Within 1 week we captured around 15 to 20 mice. I'm deathly scared of mice to the point I was having panic/anxiety attacks every time I saw one. Which being pregnant, and my doctor telling me NO STRESS, was no bueno. As much as I really didn't want a cat I knew it was our only option. At first I said OUT DOORS ONLY!!! But I'm not a heartless person and couldn't do that to this 7 month old lovable creature. We went through numerous names for the poor thing from John Wayne, Simba, Rafiki, Johnny Cash, etc.... Chris told me he was my protector and I got to pick his name. I settled on Tebow. Don't ask me why, it just came to me one day and it fit! Here are a few pictures of our new Brewcrew member!

Told you, I'm not a heartless person.....already on the bed
