36 weeks 5 days

This week, Baby is the size of a: Watermelon

How far along? 36 weeks 5 days

Due date: September 3, 2012

Total weight gain/loss: 19 pounds

Maternity clothes? Still wearing them.

Sleep: I get about 3 to 4 hours of good sleep and then it's toss and turn and interrupted for the next few hours - same as before

Best moment this week: Baby Showers are finished & now I'm just putting everything away. I also packed my hospital bag & Easton's diaper bag

Movement: A TON! He has been head down since 20 weeks and his butt goes into my right rib cage and his feet & hands go into my lungs & left rib cage.

Food cravings: No cravings still. But definitely getting more hungry faster.

Symptoms: Hard time breathing, I'm on Zantac for heartburn & acid reflux YUCK! My pelvis feels like it's going to separate at any moment & I'm pretty sure I'm only awake a total of 8 - 10 hours a day. LOL

Gender: Boy

Labor Signs: I've been having Braxton Hicks for a little bit now & the other day I had contractions every 20 minutes for about 2 hours and then they went away. The contractions were just uncomfortable not painful

Belly Button in or out? My turkey timer is ALMOST popped out! But it's completely flat at the moment.

Feeling toward Pregnancy: I'm ready to be done!!!! But I still have a lot to do & I want him to be as healthy as possible so he can cook much longer. I would love if he could come on September 2nd which was my Grandpa Robins birthday but I REALLY don't want to go over my due date!!

What I miss: Seeing my feet! HAHA I miss having energy to clean, cook or just get out of bed. Nesting hasn't kicked in really so it takes all I have to cook & clean. I can't wait to get back to tanning & the gym. Luckily I have amazing family that will watch him whenever I need a break! :)

What I am looking forward to: I am now having weekly appointments, at my last appointment my blood pressure sky rocketed so I had to go down to L&D for an NST & BPP (I think that's what it's called) everything was fine my blood pressure went back down to normal (which it has been the whole pregnancy). Easton's heart beat was PERFECT & the ultra sound came back PERFECT! I don't quite know what happened at my appointment but hopefully it doesn't happen again!!

Milestones: Finishing up the nursery!! I'm 1 load away from being done with baby clothes washing & all we need to do is finish hanging items in the nursery, putting together all the items we've gotten & finish ordering the items we didn't receive but still need!

Almost Full Term!

Man! Time is flying by!!! I'll be 37 weeks on Monday & cannot believe that my little man is Full Term! Although I wouldn't mind him coming now I really want him to wait until 39 weeks where I know he is a little more chunky & out of NICU risk since our hospital does not have a NICU we would have to go to Grand Junction, CO which is an hour in a half away SO KEEP ON COOKING BIG EASY! <--- Nick Name!

This is going to basically be a picture update with captions & then the next post I'll do one of those quizzes to answer questions about pregnancy & baby!

My little chunky butt! 3D pictures done at 30 weeks (I know I'm WAY behind)

The adorable bedding that Aunt Mary, Cousin Stefanie, Cousin Erin & Cousin Jessie got for baby for our baby shower. I wish they all could have been here but totally understand it's a bit of a travel!

Inside the crib

The bassinet & rocker in our bedroom. The rocker was given to us by Chris's Nana & Grandpa John

Cirrus LOVES hanging out in the nursery just waiting and waiting and waiting with any of her toys for baby to show up & play with her! If I can't find her around the house I look in the nursery and there he is!

We have had a few different people take maternity pictures as well as just Chris & I messing around with our camera. We LOVE all of the pictures and love the different ideas & styles of the pictures. Plus I'm 33 - 36 weeks in all the pictures so you can kind of see the difference in size in my belly.

This one is hard to read but it says "Do Not Open Until September 3, 2012"

The Jazz ball picture is for my mom!

This airplane is one that my Grandpa Robins used to fly in WWII and one of Chris's favorites airplanes!

The bomber jacket that we bought for Chris's cousins little boy that's been passed around to all the little boys & now our son gets the chance to wear it as well!

Pops Brewer gave baby this Blue Angels airplane back in March (or whenever we went to the airshow) so this picture is just for him since it was the FIRST item in our nursery. Back when there was nothing in it!

That's right everybody we have FINALLY settled on a name! Babies name will be.....
Easton Blake Brewer

Easton has a ton of nicknames - ones we will actually stick with after he is born, unlike Kramer LOL
Little Ace (Chris is big Ace by his Nana)
Big Easy (Daddies nickname for him)

Kyra hanging out in the newly painted nursery

Grandpa John did the clouds on the ceiling and they turned out PERFECT!! I couldn't have asked for anything better!

Cirrus patiently waiting for Easton! :)

Baby Shower Gift Idea Thanks to Pinterest

I found this really cute idea on Pinterest (I'm an addict) of making a Hospital Survival Kit for a first time mom. I finally have a friend here in Moab that is having a baby that I can make one of these for. She is due a month in a half before me with a little girl!

I took a regular pink gift bag, my zebra tape & some foam letters and put this together

I also found this cute idea on Pinterest and decided I needed to add it to her survival kit (I also think I'll make some for our home when Baby comes home). Because it's a lot nicer way than saying "wash your stinkin' hands before you touch my kid" ;-) I just took a regular hand sanitizer bottle, took off the front label, and put little stickers & little jewels on it.  If you can't read it, it says
"Sanitize Before Snuggle"

The contents I have added to the kit, from left of picture to the right are as follows:

Nature Valley Bars
Burts Bees Chapstick
A Soap container that has 2 stretchy headbands and 3 hair ties
A loufa
Fruit Punch gatorade
Fun colorful socks
Coconut Lime lotion
Chocolate Kisses
Breathe Mints
Face wipes
Coconut Lime body spray
Q-tips
Nail Buffer
Compact Mirror
Tweezers
&
Nail Clippers

The final project looked something like this! I'm pretty happy about it if I do say so myself!

29 weeks

This week, Baby is the size of a: Butternut Squash

How far along? 29 weeks 4 Days

Due date: September 3, 2012

Total weight gain/loss: So far 14 pounds, go to the Dr next week

Maternity clothes? Still wearing them, I might be a little sad when I can't wear them anymore, some are just really cute & comfy.

Sleep: I get about 3 to 4 hours of good sleep and then it's toss and turn and interrupted for the next few hours

Best moment this week: Sending out my baby shower invites to my Lehi shower! & Chris FINALLY being done with school FOR GOOD so we can start on getting this house organized/clean & the nursery done before baby gets here.

Movement: I feel him a lot more lately, I'm pretty sure I have identified a foot and a possible leg/arm. My mother in law Doricca finally felt him the other day and Amber at my salon felt him yesterday!

Food cravings: I still don't have any cravings, except for milk, I could drink a whole gallon in literally 3 days by myself, since Chris doesn't like just drinking milk. I have started watching what I eat and I check my blood sugar from time to time. I have to keep it under 140 and the only time it's been over was when we had pizza hut for lunch. Too much white bread I guess..... I have switched to pretty much all sugar free snacks etc and I try to only eat whole wheat breads. We had an ultra sound a couple weeks ago and he is measuring just fine so hopefully he is doing good in there and won't become a big baby because of it.

Symptoms: Hips still hurt, I think they will for awhile especially after birth. If I stand up straight I can no longer see my feet, but if I bend slightly I can see them again :)

Gender: Boy

Labor Signs: Nope.

Belly Button in or out? Still an inny, but you can tell it's starting to stretch

Feeling toward Pregnancy: I'm not going to tell you that my pregnancy has been a piece of cake & I love being pregnant, but it hasn't been that bad. I've known women who were sicker than a dog their WHOLE 9 MONTHS! YIKES!! I'm over 7 months pregnant my blood pressure is still perfect, I have no protein in my urine so Pre-E is no where to be seen, thank goodness!

What I miss: We are going to Vegas July 7th and I'm definitely going to miss being able to have a congratulatory drink with my babe for finishing school and not looking forward to getting winded after walking just a block on the strip.

What I am looking forward to: Working on the nursery! Plus, Monday we have our 3D ultrasound to see our little chunky butt! The last ones we had were at 17 weeks and he looked a little alienish! I've been told the 30 week 3D ultrasound looks basically identical to what he will look like! I just hope he is cooperative!

Milestones: I'm pretty proud that as of 27 weeks I had only gained 14 pounds, I know our body will gain what it needs but I find it ridiculous when women down a whole chocolate cake by themselves "just because they can" I'm not like that! I want to stay healthy and then once the baby is out it will be much easier to lose the weight put on.
